Timaru and Washdyke area
To prepare for the New Zealand restricted (R) driver's license test, it is recommended to accumulate at least 120 hours of supervised driving experience, covering various road types, traffic conditions, and driving skills, including left/right turns, lane changes, merging, following distance, speed control, blind spot checks, gap selection and parallel parking. You can use the free drive.govt.nz App to practice skills, track your progress, and learn from videos. Consider taking a practice test with Muray Driving School's Qualified Instructor to get valuable feedback before your actual test.
